The Hughes report follows a review by Baroness Cumberlege (‘First do no harm’ 2020), commissioned by Mr Jeremy Hunt when he was Health Minister, that separately reviewed outcomes of three historical health interventions - pelvic mesh, sodium valproate & Primodos.
