Our services

Welcome to RCN North West. The region is bounded to the east by the Peak District, the Pennines and the Irish Sea to the West, and extends up to Cumbria in the north and the West Midlands in the south. It encompasses the large and cosmopolitan cities of Liverpool and Manchester as well as the rural areas of Cheshire, Lancashire and parts of Cumbria. The North West regional team provides a range of representation, advice and professional services to members with the help and support of RCN representatives and activists through three operational patch teams covering Pennine, Cheshire and Central Manchester; Lancashire, Cumbria, Sefton and Isle of Man; and Greater Liverpool and Knowsley,

The RCN's regional office is located in Bolton. The professional staff team is led by Estephanie Dunn, as regional director and includes three patch teams comprising senior officers, officers and patch administrators. The team also includes staff responsible for supporting members with learning and professional development, PR and communications as well as regional administrative and governance functions. Additionally, a team of lawyers and legal administrative staff are based in the regional office providing legal services to members.
