Team Manager Award

The Team Manager Award is open to all registered nursing and midwifery team managers working in all health care sectors in Northern Ireland who have succeeded in raising standards of care for their patients or clients. Nominations are invited from fellow health care professionals.

Candidates will be required to demonstrate that they motivate, support and develop team members; have effective leadership and managerial skills and through the development of their team, have raised standards of care for patients and clients. 

Who can be nominated?

Nominees for the Team Manager Award must currently be a registered nurse working in Northern Ireland. Please check that the person you wish to nominate is content for you to nominate them. Nominations must be made by someone who is familiar with the work of the nominee.

How to apply

Fill out the application form and complete a 500 word summary showing evidence of how the nominee has:

• motivated, supported and developed team members

• shown leadership and managerial skills

• developed the team, leading to raised standards of care for patients and clients.
