Global majority nursing network

The multicultural nurses' group celebrated its tenth anniversary with a conference in Newcastle during Black History Month in 2018.

Staff nurse Malerato Mosebi, who works in a care home, was a member of the group since its formation. “The group has been informative, educational and supportive," she said. "It has helped us to come up with practical solutions to any difficulties we have encountered. Socially, emotionally and professionally it has been really helpful.”

Meetings stopped when RCN Officer Janet MacLean left the RCN.

Eligible group members are encouraged to join the new internationally educated nurses' network, run by RCN Officer Emma Phillips.
