Booking is now open for RCN Congress 2025. This year's in-person event takes place from 12 to 15 May in Liverpool.
Congress provides a unique opportunity for delegates to debate key issues around nursing practice that shape the RCN’s future work.
This year’s agenda items include increasing our understanding of neurodiversity in adults, assaults in the workplace and social care investment.
Also up for debate are a number of issues concerning the decline in learning disability nursing numbers, tackling health inequalities and the impact of zero-hours contracts.
As always, there will be space on the programme for emergency agenda items, which can be submitted right up until Congress finishes on 15 May.
In addition to the debates there will be lots of learning, wellbeing, social and networking events.
You can see the full agenda here.
Chair of RCN Congress Linda Bailey said: “As your new Chair of Congress, I can’t wait for this year’s Congress in Liverpool. The Agenda Committee met very recently and worked hard to agree an exciting agenda for delegates to discuss, and soon we’ll be planning the education and learning events that run alongside Congress.
“The diverse agenda is set to inspire some lively and thought-provoking conversations – it’s the perfect opportunity to network, hear from exceptional keynote speakers and crucially take part in lively debates about the issues that affect your day-to-day."
Congress is open to all RCN members to learn, develop and share best practice, and to influence nursing and health care policy.
