Chair of the West Yorkshire Branch, Pete Davis, wanted to share this message with all local members.
“Staff at Leeds Teaching Hospitals, like many others, took part in a minute of silence as a mark of respect for all those health and care workers who have lost their lives due to the Coronavirus.
“I just want to say how much the RCN (and specifically the West Yorkshire Branch) appreciates the hard work that all our members are doing to care for patients ‘on the frontline’ and keep services running ‘behind the scenes’ during this COVID-19 pandemic.
“RCN staff are working on new advice and information on a daily basis, so it’s worth checking the website regularly if you have any questions or want to know what advice to give colleagues.
“Please remember that at times like these it is ok not to be ok, look after yourself, stay safe and seek advice or support if you need to.
