Library Support Clinic

Need extra help finding information? Find out how our Library Support Clinic can get you on the right track.

Yellow background with purple fob watch and path. Text reads: Library support clinic. Need extra help finding information? Let our librarians get you on the right track. The Library Support Clinic is a drop-in at the Library and Heritage Centre where RCN members can get help on a range of library related topics, such as accessing online articles, using our eBooks, or getting some pointers with using the databases. It will be available every Wednesday from 2-4pm and every Saturday from 3-4pm.

The Library Support Clinic provides support when you need a little more help than a web chat or phone call, but a one to one training session feels like too much. There’s no need to book so it’s ideal for last minute queries, or for those times when you can’t plan ahead.

You might find it useful to bring your own device, but it’s not essential as we’ll have some library laptops to hand.

If you are brand new to literature searching or about to undertake a literature review for a dissertation, then we’d recommend you book a one to one training session or join to one of our group training sessions.
