NHS staff employed on an Agenda for Change contract in England have been awarded a 5.5% consolidated pay increase across all bands, effective from April 2024. As your union, we want to know how you feel about this award, which is why we are consulting you on the issue. As it is an award, not an offer, you will receive the pay increase regardless of how you feel about it. However, your views will inform our next steps.
We hope this session will help to clarify your views and give you a chance to ask any questions you may have before you vote to accept or reject the award in our pay consultation.
Chaired by Regional Development Officer Emma Philips and RCN Officer Helen Metcalf, this Q&A session will provide you with an opportunity to air your views and discuss your reaction to the government's award, as well as to explore what action you would be prepared to take about it.
