Ellie Stewart - Gynaecology Matron and Clinical Nurse Specialist in Urogynaecology
Ellie trained as a registered nurse at St Bartholomews Hospital in London in 1993. Since qualifying she has nursed predominantly in the fields of urology and gynaecology. She has a keen interest in womens health.
She worked at Guys and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust as a clinical nurse specialist (CNS) in Urogynaecology for 15 years gaining significant experience in this area during that time. She is a nurse prescriber, undertakes independent urodynamics, runs the third degree tear service, provides pessary fitting and support to those presenting with pelvic floor dysfunction. She also provides a link with the maternity department and local perinatal pelvic health service. Ellie writes for the nursing press and speaks regularly on courses and education sessions nationally and internationally.
Ellie currently works as a CNS in Urogynaecology and has taken on the role of gynaecology matron at the West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust in Bury St Edmunds Suffolk.
Simphiwe Sesane - Exeltis UK - Founder and CEO: Black Nurses & Midwives UK
Simphiwe Sesane is a Nurse Consultant/Medical Educator, a Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health (FSRH) and Bayer Trainer. She is also the Founder and CEO of Black Nurses & Midwives UK.
From 2012 to date, Simphiwe has worked as a Nurse in Sexual and Reproductive Health & HIV Services, with a passion for Women’s Health. From 2016, she has been active in Health Advocacy, Education and Clinical Research.
She has a special interest in Contraception, Menopause, Black maternal health and improving Sexual and Reproductive Health access for marginalised and vulnerable groups.
Simphiwe prides herself with the ability to empower individuals with choice.
Dr Gwenne McIntosh - Head of Health Sciences, University of Stirling, Scotland
Gwenne is an experienced lecturer and mental health nurse with a keen interest in co-production in education and research. Gwenne’s research includes the impact of co-production in nurse education from a student and family carer perspective, the impact of trauma informed education on student mental health nurses practice, and her PhD investigated the perspectives of male caregivers of a spouse with dementia and their views of accessing support services.Gwenne McIntosh is a Senior Fellow of Higher Education Academy (SFHEA); MSc Nursing and Applied Education; PgCert Teaching and Learning in Higher Education; BSc Advanced Practice and an NMC registered RMN.

On arrival please make your way to the RCN registration desk which will be clearly signposted. You will be issued with conference materials, including a certificate of attendance and a name badge.

A copy of the programme is available to view online and will also be provided on the day.

There will be a small exhibition running alongside this event. The exhibitors have chosen to exhibit at this conference as they feel their products and/or services may be of interest to you. The exhibition also supports the conference, therefore please take the time to go and visit each exhibition stand during the exhibition viewing times.

Cancellations and substitutions
Cancellations received one week before the start of the event will be refunded, minus a £25 administration fee. Regrettably, no refunds can be processed after this date.

Please take a few minutes to complete the evaluation at the end of the event. All answers will be treated in the strictest confidence and will help us to shape future events, both online and face to face.
A call for donations!
The RCN Women's Health Forum will be collecting sanitary products onsite for donation to charitable organistions. We are calling for all delegates and speakers to support this initiative and ask that any donations are handed to the registration desk. Your support with this initiative is very much appreciated.

Bookings can also be made via email with a downloaded booking form with credit card details or payment/remittance advice emailed to eventsreg@rcn.org.uk
All bookings will be confirmed in writing.
You will not be registered for this event unless payment accompanies your application. Places cannot be held provisionally.
The RCN reserves the right to refuse any booking at any time.

To pay by invoice you must send all of the below to eventsreg@rcn.org.uk
• A copy of the Purchase Order document from your organisation or company (we cannot process your order without it).
• Your Finance department/accounts payable contact email address to receive an electronic copy of the invoice from us.
• A completed RCNEvents Booking Form for each delegate in the booking.
Once the invoice has been raised, you will then receive confirmation of your delegate booking on the event requested. Invoices are to be paid within 30 days of the invoice being issued.
