Nursing Support Workers (NSWs) are the backbone of nursing and this event will highlight the work and achievements of all our NSWs in a day of celebration and education.
Hosted by Chris Barber (author, RCN West Midlands Board Member and RCN BENS branch member) and Sarah Percival-Clarke (retired NSW and RCN South Birmingham branch Treasurer), NSW members can either attend in person at the RCN West Midlands Regional Office or join online via Microsoft Teams.
Guest speakers will include Dennis Greer, Chair of the RCN Nursing Support Workers Committee and member of the RCN Trade Union Committee, and Kevin Morley, former Nursing Support Worker member of RCN Council, who will speak about issues that are important to our amazing NSWs.
There will also be presentations from Atkah Amin, RCN West Midlands Legal Officer, and Vicky Sandy-Davis, RCN West Midlands Lead Nurse for Independent Health and Social Care.
This event is for Nursing Support Workers only and will be a fantastic celebration of the vital role they play, so please join us in person or online.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided to those coming along in person.
To register your attendance, please book your place here. Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email, which includes the link to join the Microsoft Teams meeting on the day if you want to attend online.
