UK-wide Care Home Series: 'There Is No Place Like (Care) Home'
Care Home Nursing is a varied career with the opportunity to work with a variety of people with complex needs. These services are nurse-led services where people are supported to live fulfilling lives. During this series of events, we will be celebrating the contribution of care home nursing staff and hearing from expert speakers regarding innovations and excellence in this sector.
This event will be introduced by Professor Deborah Sturdy CBE, Chief Nurse for Adult Social Care and Professor Pat Cullen, General Secretary and Chief Executive Royal College of Nursing.
Our expert speakers will explore inclusion in care homes. You will hear from:
- Dr Jolie Keemink, Research Fellow University of Kent
- Sanjay Dhrona, Managing Director The Close Care Home and Non-Executive Director of the Outstanding Society
- Marites Murdock- Committee Member, RCN Older Peoples Forum
- Lucy Muchina, Regional Director South West Royal College of Nursing
