UK-wide Care Home Series: 'Let's Explore Person-Centeredness'
Care Home Nursing is a varied career with the opportunity to work with a variety of people with complex needs. These services are nurse-led services where people are supported to live fulfilling lives.
During this series of events, we will be celebrating the contribution of care home nursing staff and hearing from expert speakers regarding innovations and excellence in this sector.
This event will be introduced by Professor Deborah Sturdy CBE, Chief Nurse for Adult Social Care. Our main speaker is Professor Tanya McCance, who will discuss person-centeredness and explore the concepts of person and personhood.
This event will be facilitated by Leanne Hume and Michelle Raddings, Lead Nurses for Independent Health and Social Care (Northern/Yorkshire and the Humber regions).
