If you are an RCN member who has answered yes to any of these questions, then join us for a member engagement event on 2nd October to tell us what is important to you and how we can respond as a profession to sustainability challenges.
Wednesday 2nd October 2024, 10.00-15.00, RCN Birmingham office
The sessions will be run by RCN members and staff and will give you the opportunity to hear about our work so far and our ambition to empower nursing to make a difference on a local and national level.
Working with passionate nursing staff who have helped to shape the event agenda, we will explore how to move this work forward and priority areas for action.
As part of the day there will also be an opportunity to participate in a drawing workshop led by artist Lisa Gornick which will form part of the live drawing show to be presented at the Climate Emergency Exhibition in March 2025. This will highlight and celebrate the ideas, views, and voices of nursing staff around climate change.
Please also note that we’re unable to cover travel expenses.

The RCN West Midlands Regional Office is approximately 1.5 miles from Birmingham New Street Railway Station, or 0.5 miles from Five Ways Railway Station.
There are bus stops outside the office which are served by the following buses:

There is no parking available at the office itself. However, visitors can park at the nearby Plough and Harrow Hotel (135 Hagley Road, Birmingham, B16 8LS) for a £5 charge.
