Choose event information:
Students, could emergency nursing be the career path for you? Come and find out all about nursing's most high-octane specialty.
Join this event to gain valuable insight into emergency nursing.
Hear from an expert in the specialty, who will share their experience of a typical day in the life of a nurse working in accident and emergency, from the start to the end of their shift.
This event is for RCN student nurse members and will be delivered by University of Essex lecturer and RCN National Emergency Care Forum Steering Committee member Matthew Osborne DipHE Nursing Studies, BSc Adult Nursing, BSc Orthopaedic Nursing, PG Cert Acute and Emergency Care, MSc Advanced Practice in Critical Care.
With all those qualifications and all that experience under his belt, Matthew has seen some sights and has got some impactful stories to tell. Come and hear some of them.
After his presentation there will be an opportunity to ask questions and participate in a discussion about the topic, so you'll have a chance to ask him anything you like. Do you want to be an A&E nurse? If so, why? If not, why not? Maybe there's a question you could formulate from thinking about that.
