Join this workshop to understand the essential elements of writing a report that conveys your message clearly, concisely and effectively
Reports are the backbone of organisational writing. This 2½ hour workshop will help you to understand the essential elements of writing a report that conveys your message clearly, concisely and effectively. In the process, you will: explore the role of story-telling in reports; formulate a structured approach to report writing; build skills in selecting and organising relevant information; and appreciate the importance of editing and proofreading. Through writing exercises and discussion, you will learn how to organise information and approach the different stages of producing a report from initial ideas to final draft.

This event is being held in partnership with the Royal Literary Fund.
Royal Literary Fund writers work in universities, with businesses and charities, and with NHS trusts to show people how to approach and plan different types of writing and to help them feel proud of their finished work.
This is an event for RCN members.
