This exciting Leadership Programme, 'The RCN and you' is taking place across the UK and will offer Student Ambassadors the opportunity to network and learn more about the RCN.
RCN England has developed an exciting development opportunity for all Student Ambassadors. No matter where you are on your general course, there will be something of interest for you.
This six module Leadership Programme will enable you to develop skills to be a nurse leader of the future. It will also equip you with knowledge and skills to play an active role in the RCN today.
From leadership to recruiting new members to looking after yourself and others in the workplace, this programme offers a range of practical workshops.
On this second module:
- Understand what a healthy workplace/ placement is
- Understand the importance of self-care for Student Ambassadors and nurses in practice
There will also be an opportunity to network and a time for a discussion about local issues and current RCN work. Come and meet other Student Ambassadors at what promises to be an exciting and interactive day. This event is free to attend and lunch is provided. Travel expenses will also be reimbursed.
