RCN Derbyshire Study Day and Annual General Meeting

All RCN Derbyshire members are invited to attend this study day, which will focus on nursing and justice and feature presentations on the Coroner's Court, how the Forensic Community Healthcare Team works with the justice service, and record keeping. The day will also incorporate the RCN Derbyshire branch AGM.
Study Day
This study day will focus on nursing and justice, and will feature a presentation by HM Area Coroner (Derby & Derbyshire) examining the role of the coroner, why cases are referred and the role of health care professionals in the Coroner’s Court. In addition, Derbyshire Healthcare's Forensic Community Healthcare Team will talk about how they work with the justice service and there will be an RCN presentation on the importance of record keeping, providing practical advice on how health care professionals can improve their record keeping.
Registration for the day opens at 9:30am, with the sessions starting at 10am. Lunch will be provided for attendees.
Annual General Meeting
The RCN Derbyshire AGM will be incorporated into the study day and will run between 11.30am and 12.30pm.
Help make a difference by shaping local branch activities for the year ahead and electing your branch committee members. You can even stand for election yourself if you want to get more involved! The AGM is an opportunity for you to get involved in shaping the future of your branch, have your say on how it's run and learn more about the activities it undertakes.
If you're new to the RCN and this is your first AGM, please get involved - it's a great way to meet colleagues and other RCN members and influence the year ahead.
If you can’t attend the whole Study Day but want to go to the AGM, you can still come along by joining online via Microsoft Teams at 11.30am. In order to receive the Teams meeting link you will need to join, please register your attendance by using this booking link.
