RCN Suffolk branch members are invited to this event: RCN Employment Standards for the Independent Health and Social Care sectors
The RCN took an action from Congress 2023, to lobby governments for minimum standards for employment terms and conditions for all the nursing workforce in any organisation funded by the public purse. Since then, we’ve drafted the RCN Employment Standards for the Independent Health and Social Care sectors, to set out expectations we have for nursing staff, with regards to their pay, terms and conditions, which will be used to inform our lobbying of the UK government and employers.
Our Employment Relations (Fair Pay for Nursing) team, are consulting members on the draft of the standards throughout July and August. During the session, you will be guided through the standards, and asked for your feedback. You will also be given the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
