Nutrition, hydration and skincare are absolutely vital to quality patient care, and make the world of difference to patient outcomes.
As nursing support workers, there is a lot of responsibility riding on your shoulders to get these three elements of patient care right, even while you and others in your team are beyond overstretched in terms of capacity.
You will come away with an enhanced understanding of nutrition, hydration and skincare delivery.
The session will be delivered by University of Essex Lecturer and RCN National Steering Committee member for Emergency Care Nursing Matthew Osborne, DipHE Nursing Studies, BSc Adult Nursing, BSc Orthopaedic Nursing, PG Cert Acute and Emergency Care, MSc Advanced Practice in Critical Care.
