  • Room 1A, Exhibition Centre Liverpool, King's Dock, Port of Liverpool, Liverpool, L3 4FP
Submitted by the Education Forum in collaboration with the Advanced Nurse Practitioner Forum

This session will explore the experiences of neurodivergent individuals in nursing, including those with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other conditions, and the benefits they bring to the profession. A panel of experts by experience will discuss how reasonable adjustments can support neurodivergent staff in practicing sustainably and effectively, enhancing both their wellbeing and patient care. Delegates will be invited to share their own experiences and contribute to updating the RCN’s neurodiversity guidance.

This session, relevant to all nursing members across all specialties, will increase understanding of neurodivergence in the workplace and promote inclusive practices. Participants will also have the opportunity to help shape future resources and guidance for neurodivergent staff.
