Topic - Understanding statutory leave within the independent health and social care setting
Join our live events and be part of and support the RCN’s community of internationally educated nursing professionals (IENs). The RCN recognises the enormous contribution IENs make to health and social care, and we understand the specific challenges IENs face when first arriving and working in the UK. Our series of live events will assist IENs with these challenges and provide the opportunity to ask questions.
This webinar will focus on the statutory leave available to those working in the independent health and social care setting. This live event is part of a series which will continue with understanding statutory pay within the independent health and social care setting on 17/12/24.
Topics include:
- Annual Leave
- Sick Leave
- Maternity Leave
- Paternity Leave
- Adoption Leave
- Shared Parental Leave
- Individual Parental Leave
- Dependents’ Leave
- Parental Bereavement Leave.
The webinar will be presented by Jeni Watts.
Jeni Watts is a National Officer in the RCN’s Employment Relations Department working with employers and RCN members in independent health and social care, with a focus on Primary Care. Jeni has broad experience in the RCN, including being an activist and working as a Regional Officer in the London and South West Regions.
