Navigating career progression in nursing and strategies for success

RCN Eastern region members and non-members are invited to this informative online meeting on career progression and success.
Join this online session to hear from our speakers how to make progress in your career.
Ruby Lopez, RCN Cambridgeshire Branch Chair and Cultural Ambassador, will focus on demonstrating how to navigate career progression for all nursing staff, with an additional focus for our global majority members. The session will explore career growth strategies and career planning models to foster equitable career growth and opportunities.
Mo Nowrung will be presenting 'generating personal success' where he will analyse the psychobiology of personal achievements with techniques used in practice to generate success and personal growth. He will explore the differences between personal and material success and how we can identify our preferences. He will finish on how to learn and apply simple practices for stress management and how stress can impact our ability to succeed.
Sarah Seeley, the RCN Lead Nurse for Independent Health and Social Care in the Eastern region, will talk about the RCN's progress on the development of the professional framework for nursing, including a career framework repository and highlight the career resources available to all RCN members.
The session will be held online using Microsoft Teams. A link to join the meeting will be sent to you once you register your details to attend.
