You are warmly invited to your RCN Lancashire West AGM and learning event, which is taking place on Wednesday 6th November from 12pm.
This year's AGM will take place both in person at the Royal Preston Hospital and also online on Microsoft Teams.
To register your attendance, please click the booking link above and specify whether you wish to join the meeting in person or online. Upon registration, you will receive an email including a link to join the Microsoft Teams meeting on the day. You do not need to have the Microsoft Teams app to join the meeting, you can join using the web browser of any internet enabled device.
This year's meeting will begin with a lunch at midday for those attending in person, followed by a learning event from 1pm, further details tbc. The AGM will begin at 2pm. Please check here in the coming weeks for further information.
Your AGM is also your opportunity to elect your branch committee members, including the branch Chair, Treasurer and Secretary. Being on the branch committee is a great personal and professional development opportunity. The strength of a trade union is in its numbers but each and every individual branch has an important part to play in making your union's voice heard. If you attend only one branch meeting a year, make it your AGM and help to set the agenda for you and your fellow local members for the year ahead.
