Voting opens for RCN Council

The voting for the candidates standing in the Royal College of Nursing Council elections opens today and runs until Monday 30 September.

The countries and regions where the candidates standing for election are: London, Northern, Northern Ireland, Scotland, South East, Wales, West Midlands, and Yorkshire and the Humber.

Eastern, East Midlands, North West, South West and Nursing Support Workers  only had one eligible nomination each and the candidates have been elected unopposed. 

Sue Warner, outgoing Chair of RCN Council (who is not eligible for re-election) said:

“This is a hugely important time not just for the College but for nursing in general.

“The successful candidates will play a crucial role in strengthening our position at this pivotal time.

“I urge all of those who are eligible to vote to use this opportunity to vote for candidates to represent you views and ensure your voice is heard.”
