RCN-Awards-2025

Nominations are now open for the RCN Awards 2025 – it’s your chance to celebrate nursing staff who’ve made a major contribution to the profession through their voluntary RCN roles.

From reps to forum members and student ambassadors, many RCN members give up their time to help support others and make a real difference to the lives of nursing staff.

The RCN Awards recognises the hard work, commitment and achievements of these selfless volunteers. But we need you to tell us who deserves recognition.

This year, you can nominate a colleague in the following categories:

Winners of the health and safety representative, learning representative, steward, student ambassador and forum awards will receive £500, with £250 given to a runner-up in each category.

Paul Vaughan, Chair of RCN Council, said: “You have a chance to nominate the outstanding nursing staff who you think deserve one of these special awards. Tell us how they’ve made a difference and let’s shout about their brilliant work.

“Nursing is an exceptional profession, filled with exceptional individuals. The RCN Awards highlights the best of the best, those who’ve gone above and beyond in their quest to support their colleagues and improve the profession for all.”

Nominations close on Monday 13 January 2025.

Winners will be announced at RCN Congress 2025.

* Please note, RCN staff cannot be nominated in the awards – this includes RCN officers.
