Before you contact us
To get the most out of your conversation with us, there are a few things you can do:
- Check out our advice guides: our advice guides offer a range of advice on employment issues. In particular, our problems at work checklist may prove useful.
- Pick your time: please think about whether you have the space and time to talk openly.
- Be prepared: we'll ask you for your membership number and to confirm your employer’s details/place of work. Please have any relevant documents to hand. We recommend checking your contract and workplace policies before getting in touch as they may answer your query.
- Consider your desired outcome: ask yourself how we can help and what you'd like to achieve from the conversation. Remember, in general, we can only provide representation for issues that first arose during your membership with us.
