IBD is a significant disease and most nurses working in GI will have contact with patients with IBD, often at their most vulnerable. Nurses working within IBD care have an important role within the care and management of people living with IBD providing holistic, advanced care.

It doesn’t bode well when adult bed occupancy in hospitals is already at 95%, well above the recommended safe level."
