This session provides a detailed overview of strategies and frameworks to counter racism in nursing across all health care settings. Aimed at all delegates, the session draws on the RCN Strategic Plan's commitment to become an anti-racist organisation. It incorporates insights from the Time to Talk - Anti-Racism resource and Shereen Daniels' work The Anti-Racist Organisation (2022). All health care professionals must embrace inclusive leadership to improve outcomes for both patients and colleagues, this session will offer clear, actionable strategies for addressing racism. Participants will gain an understanding of what anti-racism means, identify effective approaches to tackle racism, and enhance their awareness of inclusive leadership practices.
