Key information for exhibitors
Thank you for supporting this year’s RCN Congress & Exhibition: The largest annual nursing
exhibition in the UK.
RCN Congress is a unique event for everyone in the nursing community!
Delegates engage in key debates around nursing practice, public health, employment issues,
and health reforms which help shape the RCN agenda. Issues debated at Congress
frequently make the headlines – it’s a unique opportunity for the world to hear the voice of
nursing and for delegates to engage, communicate and network with a multitude of
organisations.
We hope you have a very successful exhibition. Should you need any further information in
the run-up to the event, please contact the RCN Corporate Relations Team via congressexhibition@rcn.org.uk.
Welcome to your manual
Welcome to your exhibitor manual for RCN Congress. This year we have tried to make our
exhibitor manual and resources easier and more accessible to all.
In this repository, you’ll find a range of documents and resources that
should contain everything you will need to manage your exhibition presence at RCN
Congress 2025. We will update with additional resources as the event approaches and send
you emails to remind you of key milestones on the ‘to do’ list ahead of the event.
Exhibition set up will take place on Sunday 11 May between 8am and 5pm.
Shell scheme is the name given to pre-erected rows of stands (which include carpet, a light and electrical socket); where you simply turn up and dress the stand. Stands at RCN Congress are all shell scheme as standard.
All shell scheme packages include:
- a fully carpeted high-quality Octanorm shell scheme stand with a nameboard
- an electrical package (500-watt socket and two 100-watt spot lights)*
- a fifty-word company entry on the RCN Congress website
- your company name and stand number listed in the RCN Congress guide
- tea and coffee for stand personnel
The shell scheme is 2.5m in height and each panel is just under 1m. You may attach items to the shell scheme via temporary fixings such as Blu-Tack and Sellotape.
Stand break-down is from 16.30 on Wednesday 14 May.
Please note that stands may not be removed from the exhibition until the official break-down time and all delegates have left the exhibition hall.
Please also note that for exhibitors in the lower hall it will not be possible to use trolleys to remove items until after the event is closed. Items may be removed by hand before this
This strictly contravenes RCN health & safety regulations and is discourteous to other exhibitors who wish to exhibit until the end of the last viewing time.
