Understanding Aseptic Technique
Publication Code : 010 725A summary of RCN evidence generation in 2022 using qualitative interviews with nurses. The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) has undertaken a programme of work in response to members’ concerns about the conduct of aseptic technique. This report adds to the profession’s education journey to enhance nursing practice founded on enquiry and the generation of evidence to inform practice. This report will be of interest to nursing staff or midwives involved in aseptic technique guideline development or education of this core practical skill.

A Case Management Tool for TB Prevention, Care and Control in the UK

It aims to promote standardisation of protocols and procedures, ensure accountability for delivery and establish clear performance measures through cohort review. The tool is consistent with existing guidance for professionals working in the field of TB in the UK which provide a sound framework for clinical management and commissioning. This updated guidance replaces 006 194.

Mental health nursing: a profession that must be valued (English)

This, combined with a lack of investment in inpatient services, has contributed to inequalities within mental health service provision.
