The RCN and other trade unions have been involved in pay negotiations with Manx Care for the 2024-25 pay round.
In October 2024, Manx Care offered a 4% pay uplift with effect from 1 April 2024. We surveyed you at the time. Collectively, you rejected this offer.
Following discussion with the RCN Isle of Man Branch officials, and with ratification from our North West Regional Board and the RCN Trade Union Committee, we’re now asking if you would be willing to take strike action.
This is an indicative ballot. It will determine your collective intention to take strike action.
If the majority of those who take part in this indicative ballot vote ‘Yes’, another postal ballot will be required before a formal mandate to take strike action is provided.
Vote on what happens next
Only RCN members employed directly by Manx Care are eligible to vote in this ballot.
The ballot runs from midday on Wednesday 26 February 2025 until midday on Wednesday 12 March 2025.
