Vote on the proposed single pay structure from Macmillan Cancer Support

Your vote will only be counted if your MyRCN record shows that you’re employed by Macmillan Cancer Support and you work in the Direct Services team.
All other votes will be discounted.
What you’re voting on
Macmillan Cancer Support is proposing a new single pay structure for its staff. Macmillan Cancer Support carried out a data validation exercise to decide how roles in the organisation are aligned in the proposed new pay structure.
The proposal is set out on page 2 of this letter and in these slides from Macmillan Cancer Support.
Macmillan Cancer Support confirms that this proposal does not affect your base salary, which will stay the same. It has also confirmed that if you are currently below the bottom of your new salary band, you’ll be uplifted to the bottom of your new band.
You can accept or reject this offer online below.
How we’ll use the result of this consultation
If most members accept the offer, we expect the new banding structure to apply from January 2025.
If most members reject the offer, we will aim to re-enter negotiations with the employer.
