NICE School-based Interventions: Health Promotion and Mental Well-being Quality Standard.

NICE has developed a draft quality standards for school-based interventions: health promotion and mental well-being.

This quality standard:

• Covers interventions in primary and secondary education to promote the health and mental wellbeing of children and young people, including those in alternative provision.
• Is intended to support the delivery of a whole-school approach, which extends beyond learning and teaching to promoting health and mental wellbeing throughout all aspects of children and young people’s primary and secondary education.
