NICE Draft Guideline Consultation - Care and support of older people with learning disabilities.

NICE has written some guidance about how services should work for older people with a learning disability named the Care and support of older people with learning disabilities.

NICE would like to know what the Royal College of Nursing thinks of it.

This guideline:

• covers care and support of older people with learning disabilities.
• covers identifying and assessing people’s changing needs as they grow older, making information and services accessible, future planning and service delivery
  and organisation. 
• aims to ensure that adults with learning disabilities are given help to access services, including health, social care, housing and end of life, that
  will provide support as they grow older.
