End of Life Care – Service Delivery
This guideline covers organizing and delivering end of life care services for adults approaching the end of their life. It aims to ensure that people have access to end of life services in all care settings, according to their needs and wishes. It also includes advice on services for carers and other people important to adults who are approaching the end of their life.
NICE would like to hear views on the following:
- Which areas will have the biggest impact on practice and be challenging to implement? Please say for whom and why.
- Would implementation of any of the draft recommendations have significant cost implications?
- What would help users overcome any challenges? (For example, existing practical resources or national initiatives, or examples of good practice.)
