NICE has produced a draft guideline update of Urinary tract infection in under 16s (standing committee update) clinical guideline and are now consulting on the draft evidence review (Addendum).
This guideline- covers diagnosing and managing first or recurrent upper or lower urinary tract infection in infants, children and young people.
- aims to achieve more consistent clinical practice, based on accurate diagnosis and effective management.
This guideline will update NICE guideline CG54 (published August 2007).
