Our strategy

  • Improve engagement across the forum through appropriate social media posts, blogs and webinars with the aim of increasing committee membership
  • Provide a centralized space for sharing and collating of professional frameworks to support cancer nursing including competency and career development frameworks
  • Enhance web pages for the forum across the RCN webpage and RCN learn to increase engagement
  • Continue to support relationships with UKONs/EONs and where possible other relevant external stakeholders to add professional credibility to the cancer forum

What we are currently working on:

  • Webinar for Educational Resources – working with UK higher education institutes to provide webinars around educational courses available in cancer care.
  • Development of Expert Representatives – creating pool of expert representatives that can work with the RCN cancer committee to support with project planning and involvement.
  • Forum resource page – future development of a resource page for RCN members to signpost to relevant guidance and clinical content to support you in practice.
