POLICY BRIEFING If Scotland’s current framework of NHS targets has had its day, what next?
In June 2015 RCN Scotland and the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges and Faculties Scotland called for visionary change and bold action to ensure the future sustainability of the NHS in Scotland, including a new approach to targets. It is clear from discussions with RCN members, with politicians from all parties and with health and social care partners across the public, third and independent sectors, that there is the real need for change. These short articles are designed to be an important contribution in that context.
