RCN response to the Scottish Government Consultation on Scottish Government’s new Suicide Prevention Action Plan

RCN Scotland supports the broad themes presented in the Scottish Government’s engagement paper. Nurses and healthcare support workers have an invaluable contribution to identifying and caring for individuals experiencing mental health crises. We must ensure that there is a resourced and sustainable nursing workforce with the capacity, skill mix and knowledge to support suicide awareness and prevention.
