POLICY: Rural Delivery Plan
RCN Scotland welcomes attempts to improve rural Scotland as a place to live and work. We have focused comments on the need to improve population health and wellbeing, as well as digital and transport challenges that exist for RCN members working and studying in rural areas.
RCN Scotland members work and study across rural parts of Scotland. Like the wider population, they face challenges particularly in terms of transport, housing and digital infrastructure which affects their ability to provide services. RCN Scotland further suggests that the key indicators in relation to health and wellbeing should focus more on outcomes rather than subjective views on services
