POLICY: RCN Scotland submission to the NHS targets review

21 October 2016
RCN Scotland contribution to the principles of the Scottish Government review of NHS targets.
The RCN has been working hard for some months now, in partnership across sectors and professions, to prompt a debate on measuring success and to re-set our current approach to health and wellbeing targets. We are pleased that this Government review has been established, with you as Chair, to recommend options for change.

This is a short submission from the RCN on the principles for the review which includes the Executive Summary of our recent publication “Measuring Success: Principles for a new approach to improving health and wellbeing in Scotland” which gives further detail on the RCN’s position.

If you have any comments or would like to find out more information then please contact the RCN Scotland Policy team by emailing them at policyscotland@rcn.org.uk or by filling in the attached feedback form and sending it to Policy, RCN Scotland, 42 South Oswald Road, Edinburgh, EH9 2HH
