POLICY - Principles for a technology-enabled health and social care service: A view from the health professions working in primary care

12 July 2017
A joint statement from professional leaders in primary care, submitted to the Scottish Parliament’s Health and Sport Committee Inquiry into Technology and Innovation in the NHS.
This statement was developed collaboratively by the primary care professional bodies to inform the Health and Sport Committee’s Inquiry into Technology and Innovation in the NHS.  It sets out principles for what needs to be in place in order to achieve an aspirational, modern health service that fully meets the needs of individuals, health professionals and the NHS. The statement builds on the publication ‘The future of primary care in Scotland: a view from the professions’ as well as the bodies’ previous joint submission to the National Digital Strategy.
