NHS reforms, Que Sera? Whatever will be, will be?

This report takes the form of discussion document and gives opportuinty for RCN members to consider and respond to a range of questions relating to the future design and functions of the NHS, based upon a vision for the NHS of the future, which was presented by the Secretary of State for Health in England, in September 2006.

The overall effect of the three determinants of how future services will develop, patient choice; commissioner decisions; and practitioner innovations, equate to the three drivers in an NHS of increasingly complex market forces.
