We're committed to making equity and inclusion an everyday reality for all our members. This means disrupting patterns of inequality and discrimination wherever we find them.

How we're setting standards for equity, diversity and inclusion
Meeting the recommendations of two independent reviews
In 2021, we commissioned two independent reviews into the culture and governance of our College. Their aim was to spot and address cultural and organisational issues holding us back from being the truly representative and trusted organisation our members and staff deserve. We're committed to meeting all equity, diversity and inclusion recommendations raised through these reviews. Read about our progress so far.

We all have a vital role to play in advancing race equity
If you feel unsure about where to start, our new interactive resource provides some valuable first steps to building your knowledge and confidence to help build a more equitable health care system.
How inclusion can improve care
When individuals or groups are excluded from society, there is often a direct impact on their health. At the same time, certain illnesses or disabilities can also lead to people being excluded. Our inclusion health care guidance can be used to make services more inclusive and help break down the barriers people face when accessing care.
Discrimination has no place in nursing
Our new videos highlight the critical importance of delivering on equity, diversity and inclusion.
What to do if you're being discriminated against at work
It’s unlawful to discriminate against someone because of a protected characteristic, such as age, race or sex. We have a range of resources which can help you if you feel you are being discriminated against at work.
