RCN Northern IrelandĀ
The RCN is the largest professional association and trade union for nurses, nursing assistants and nursing students. We campaign on issues of concern to nursing and patients, influencing health policies and promoting excellence in nursing practice on behalf of our members.
Chance to write to your MLA
It is crucial that we continue to apply pressure to our politicians on pay. We are, therefore, asking members to write to their local MLAs here to ask them to use their influence to demand that nursing staff in Northern Ireland, at the very least, are offered pay parity with other UK colleagues.
How is it for you?
Nursing staff across Northern Ireland are being asked to share their experiences of working through the global pandemic.
These stories, collected through the SenseMakerĀ® tool will support the RCN in influencing decision-making and policy, and create an important record of nursing in Northern Ireland at this critical time.
Please take the time to share your story. #SenseMaker
Branches
All members belong to an RCN branch. Branches work across the HSC, independent, private and voluntary sectors to deliver services to members and provide opportunities for members to participate in, shape and influence the work of the RCN.
